2026-2027 Luncheons

Quarterly Luncheons

Each luncheon will have a theme, introduce new business and give you a chance to see friends old and new. We raffle the table centerpieces for one lucky attendee per table and enjoy lunch while socializing with friends.

Our 50th Anniversary Luncheon was celebrated on June 4th 2026, at Canyon Club. Clara Iriarte planned and pulled off a fabulous celebration with pink and gold as far as the eye could see. Clara organized a large team of volunteers that met numerous times to plan this event and helped in a variety of ways. Guests were encouraged to wear pink and gold, and our ladies did a great job following that request!

Our presentation was provided by two of our very own members: Ann Harris Davidson and Clara Iriarte. Ann presented a “(Very) Brief FHV History – The Foundation from Which FHN Could Develop” which included newspaper articles, photos and history about the development of our wonderful Four Hills Village from its inception in the middle of the 1900’s. Clara followed up with “Looking Back at 50 Years of FHN – Life in Four Hills” with information about the formation of our Four Hills Neighbors ladies group by our founder, Dorothy Vorhees.

We were blessed to have 8 of our past presidents with us along with our current president, Merrill Gallegos. These included: Eileen Mahn, Morrell Eggert, Nancy Kluck, Pat Zmuda, Lynn Massey, Renee Grout, Carolyn Rigirozzi and Kaye Martin. Renee Grout, our current City Councilor for District 9 in Albuquerque that includes Four Hills Village, presented Merrill Gallegos and our group with a Proclamation from the City of Albuquerque congratulating Four Hills Neighbors on our 50-year anniversary and identifying us as an exemplar of neighborhood groups in Albuquerque.

Guests were greeted at the door to the club by our current president, Merrill, and our new 1st Vice President Jennifer Lopez. Each guest had their photo taken before entering the ballroom, and each guest was also given a keepsake of this special day – a reproduction of a painting by our founder, Dorothy Vorhees. The afternoon culminated with the lighting of our 50th birthday cake candles and a rendition of “Happy Birthday” led by our very own Nancy Kluck and Morrell Eggert. Happy Birthday, FHN!
